📚 One book
If there’s one thing you should remember from this book, it’d be:
The story a customer repeats matters more than the message a company sends. Trust grows from how a business behaves, how its people show up, and whether customers feel understood.
Here’s another three:
People remember people. A brand becomes easier to care about when a real person is visible inside it. Let the people doing the work explain their decisions, answer questions, and speak like themselves.
Culture sets the ceiling for strategy. When every exception needs approval, care becomes slow and scripted. Give the people closest to customers the authority to resolve common problems without asking a manager.
Belonging requires a place and a role. People feel part of a community when they can contribute. Give customers a way to welcome newcomers, share what they’ve learned, or shape what you build next.
